2. What data we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect:
- Email address — provided directly by you when signing up.
- Timestamp — the date and time of your registration.
We do not collect your IP address, browser type, or any other technical information beyond what is listed above.
3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR Art. 6)
We process your email address based on your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you provide by ticking the consent checkbox when joining the waitlist. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at privacy@vivu.com.
4. How we use your data
Your email address is used solely to:
- Notify you when ViVu launches or when your waitlist invitation is ready.
- Send you important updates about the ViVu service.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data retention
We retain your email address until you request deletion, or until ViVu's waitlist program ends — whichever comes first. After that, your data is permanently deleted.
6. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers located within the European Union. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information from unauthorized access, including restricted API access and encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

8. Cookies and local storage
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The only data stored in your browser is your theme preference (dark/light mode), saved via localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.

We use Google Fonts to display typography on this website. When your browser loads our pages, it may send a request to Google's servers. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details. No other third-party services are used on this website.
10. Supervisory authority
If you believe we have not handled your data in accordance with applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Hungary, this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH).
